FAQ

How long does a block last?

There’s no “one-size” answer—deer will decide. How long it lasts depends on herd size, time of year, and how often they’re hitting it. As a general guide: 50lb: 1–3 months, 80lb: 1–4 months, 150lb: 2–5 months.

Best time of year to run them?

Anytime where legal, but they’re most useful during high-demand periods: spring fawning and recovery, post-rut rebuild, summer antler growth, and harsh winter when natural forage is limited. Always check local regulations before use.

Where should I place my block?

Don’t overthink it—put it where deer already live and move: downwind edge of bedding, trail intersections, funnels/pinch points, or a staging pocket just off a food source. Keep it low-pressure, easy to refresh, and don’t burn the spot up checking it. Always follow local regulations.

Will rain or weather ruin the block?

No, normal weather won’t “ruin” it. Rain can soften the outer layer and speed up consumption, but it’ll keep working. For best life, place it on firm ground and avoid spots that stay muddy or flood
