Our Story
At B.A. Blocks, we believe great hunting starts long before opening day. It starts with healthy whitetail herds, responsible land management, and a genuine passion for improving the ground we hunt. BA Blocks was built by hunters who care deeply about the land, the herd, and the traditions that come with them.
Growing up in a large hunting family, much of my childhood was spent on our family farm maintaining the property and constantly working to improve it for the deer herd. Managing the land was more than just preparing for the next season—it was something that brought our family together and created some of our best memories. Like many hunters and land managers, we relied on the typical store-bought mixes, mineral blocks, and feed products available at the time.
But over the years, something became clear: while many of those products worked to some extent, they rarely delivered the results we were hoping for. Deer would stop in occasionally, but not consistently, and it never felt like we were truly improving the herd the way we intended. It often felt like we were buying products that promised results without ever really seeing them.
With an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for doing things better, I started experimenting on our own property. I began developing my own food plot blends, mineral dressings, and supplements with the goal of creating something more natural and more effective. Over time, those ideas evolved into what would eventually become BA Blocks.
BA Blocks was created with a simple mission: build a better mineral block specifically for whitetail deer—one that hunters, outfitters, and land managers could trust to support healthier herds and more productive properties. Everything about BA Blocks, from how it’s made to what goes into it, is designed with that goal in mind.
Today, BA Blocks is used by hunters, land managers, and outfitters who share the same passion for improving the land they hunt and supporting the health of the herds they care about.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: help hunters and land managers build stronger, healthier whitetail herds while preserving the traditions that make hunting special.
For many of us, hunting is about far more than harvesting a deer. It’s about time spent outdoors, the land we manage, and the memories we create with friends and family along the way.
B.A. Blocks exists to support that tradition by providing a dependable mineral product designed with whitetail deer and serious land managers in mind. As we grow, our goal is to continue developing products that help improve herd health, support responsible land management, and give hunters the confidence that what they’re putting on their property is making a real difference.
Because at the end of the day, better land management leads to healthier herds, better hunting experiences, and stronger traditions for the next generation.
